My stay at El Andalous Lounge & Spa Hotel in Marrakesh was a mixed bag. The breakfast had some tasty choices, and I enjoyed the polite staff, but the hotel itself needs a serious facelift. From the outdated decor to the sketchy Wi-Fi, I had to work around a lot of inconveniences to enjoy my trip fully.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were generally clean, but the furnishings felt really dated. My room had no proper mattress protector, just a sheet over a hard mattress. I encountered some issues with the keycard and had to seek help multiple times.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff weren't very helpful and seemed a bit rude, which was frustrating when I needed assistance. The service at the restaurant also felt slow and disorganized, adding to my overall dissatisfaction.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a lovely area of Marrakesh, close to the Menara Mall, which was convenient for shopping and dining. It was nice to have easy access to taxis, making it simple to explore the city.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had a good variety, but it wasn't always great quality. I even encountered some issues like a runny omelette. Room service was also frustrating at times, particularly when I had to pay extra for it despite being on a bed and breakfast plan.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel amenities included a nice pool, though it had a strong chlorine smell. I ran into issues with Wi-Fi, which barely worked throughout my stay, indicating a need for better maintenance of facilities.

6.6/10

My stay at El Andalous Lounge & Spa Hotel was quite disappointing. Although the location was lovely and the pool area was a highlight, the overall experience was marred by unclean rooms and unhelpful staff. I certainly wouldn't rate it as a four-star hotel based on my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was dusty and not cleaned properly. I found leftover food on the balcony and the bathroom facilities were outdated. The bed was big and comfortable, but overall, I was not impressed.
Service
5.0
The service was lackluster at best. The staff often seemed unfriendly, and when I expressed concerns, they took a long time to respond. Additionally, there were issues with billing and charges being inconsistent, which left me feeling frustrated.
Location
6.0
The hotel is situated in a very nice area, which is in walking distance to many of the main attractions. This was one of the few positives about my visit.
Dining
5.0
While the breakfast had a variety of options, I found the taste disappointing. The dining experience could certainly use improvement.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel does offer nice amenities like a pool and spa, but many facilities seemed outdated and in need of renovation. The service particularly at the pool was slow and unremarkable.

I recently stayed at El Andalous Lounge & Spa Hotel and found it a mix of good and bad experiences. While the pool area was lovely and the cleanliness was satisfactory, the overall upkeep and service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the dining options were not great, which detracted from an otherwise nice location.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were generally clean, but they had some maintenance issues. I had a persistent problem with the toilet flush, and the room felt quite dated overall.
Service
5.0
The staff didn’t seem very welcoming or helpful. They were often curt and seemed overwhelmed, which made for a less smooth experience than I expected.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a convenient area close to the city center, making it easy to explore Marrakech. However, the traffic noise disrupted my sleep at times.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was disappointing, lacking variety and flavor. I often ended up sticking to pastries and cereal as the other options didn’t appeal to me.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the pool were nice, but the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent and needed improvement. Plus, the overall decor felt outdated and in need of renovation.

I had a decent stay at El Andalous Lounge & Spa Hotel, enjoying the spacious room and friendly atmosphere. However, I encountered some service-related issues, particularly with slow response times and difficulties in communication. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out, but the breakfast variety could use improvement.

Rooms
8.0
My room was very spacious with two large double beds and a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. It was quite comfortable and quiet, perfect for relaxation.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent; while some staff were friendly, I faced issues with slow service and communication challenges. It took multiple calls to get towels during my stay, and the reception staff were sometimes curt.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a lovely neighborhood, making it convenient for accessing nearby attractions and restaurants. It felt secure and well-located.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a mix of British and Moroccan options, which I found quite nice, though the variety was lacking and could be improved to satisfy more tastes.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were decent, but the elevators were painfully slow at times, and I had to wait a long time for room service. The housekeeping was efficient, maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay.
